The inaugural Beat the Streets Summer Wrestling Camp Program was very successful as 175 wrestlers and coaches representing 18 Middle Schools and 13 High Schools from the public, parochial and public schools in New York City.
Wrestlers and coaches traveled to the campuses of Greg Strobel's Lehigh Camp, John Smith's Wrestling Camp, Bruce Baumgartner's Edinboro University Camp, Rob Koll's Cornell Camp, Ken Chertow's Camps at Oneonta, State College, Baltimore, and the last one coming up in Allentown, PA.

Things went well at the Chertow camp - kids seemed to have a great time and were all excited about the technique they picked up.
Troy Nickerson was a camp worker and Beningo and Hanafee worked out with him in some extra sessions.
